If you are installing cameras, and
- Managed to add a camera using a network cable but it's gone offline after unplugging the network cable, or
- when adding an indoor camera using the sound wave function, there is no double beep.
Check that the antenna is attached and fully screwed onto the camera if it is an outdoor model. Outdoor cameras have no built-in antenna, so will only work with the external antenna fitted.
Check that you have entered the WiFi password correctly.
Check the WiFi password encryption. If your router is using WEP, rather than AES or AES2, as the password encryption, then the problem could be with your router's setting. Please take a look at this solution for a workaround if you have to use WEP.
