The Clever Learning Algorithm will work better if you make adjustments that are specific to your environment.
If you go to 'Camera Setting' page -> 'Fine Tune Smart Detection', you can specify if camera is facing 'Inside' or 'Outside'. This is quite important, as we have designed two sets of algorithms to deal with different environments. You can take a look at this solution if you wonder which mode is suitable for your need.

For indoor usage, you should adjust the human sizes within the view. You can also select if the camera is going to neglect pets or not.
For outdoor usage, you can specify up to 3 hotspots. Activities within these areas will be detected and analysed, areas outside hotspot won't be detected. This is a good way to avoid alerts from trees that might sway a lot in windy conditions.
