Once you have added a camera to the Base Station, you'll notice in the main page of the app that the background of camera screen changes regularly to reflect what the camera is pointing at. We've designed this feature so that at a glance, you can very quickly know which camera is which and what's in the field of view.
The default setting allows the app to update a camera's screenshot regardless of the camera's arm / disarm status. You can use the 'Disarm Screen Refresh' button in the Camera Setting page, which will stop the screenshot from changing if that camera is in disarm or auto-disarm mode.
The main purpose of this feature is for privacy, as the app will only gain an updated screenshot when the system is meant to be monitoring for activity.
